What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

You have a full day ahead of you... your thoughts will shape your day.
You have a full day ahead of you... your thoughts will shape your day.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a unique therapeutic process has been scientifically proven to help people change the way they think and feel.

CBT is used to effectively work through many problems. From depression, anxiety, any types of addictions, behavioral issues or relationship problems.

CBT helps an individual recognize how patterns of thinking can produce or exacerbate their problems.

This therapeutic approach helps the individual recognize how their thought processes led them to develop habits and behaviors that are not helpful to their wellbeing.

During and throughout the therapeutic process, some areas that individuals work on are: recognizing and changing thinking patterns by recognizing and reevaluating distorted thoughts; understanding motivations and what drives behavior; reframe coping abilities to work through difficult problems; rework perceived abilities and build greater levels of confidence.

Through the CBT process, individuals learn to change their behaviors by reprogramming their thoughts. By willfully replacing negative thoughts with thoughts of strength and positivity, individuals are better able to face challenges, become more relaxed and mentally at ease, and become more focused, and mindful of themselves with nurturing thoughts.

Your thoughts determine how you feel.

How you feel influences your behavior and what you do or feel like doing.

You can change your behavior by changing your thoughts to produce motivating emotions.
